Hi all,
Day one of Sail Melbourne was a total floater. I headed out there about 1 hour before the race and the breeze was OK. Still light at about 2 – 6 knots.
I did some pre start work and tested speed which was fine. The right looked good. With about 10 mins to go the AP went up and the racing was postponed. We sat in our boats and waited till just before 5 before they sent us to shore.
After that I packed up and was told I have to get National Letters on my sail. Great … that will take up most of my morning tomorrow.
Josh and I went over to Mikes to have some dinner and watch foxtel. Sheer gold in his apartment with awesome cooking facilities. Thanks Miker !!!
Will update you tomorrow on 3 races. Forecast is light southerly breezes so we will see how it all goes.
