Hi all,
Day 2 of Kiel Week turned out to be a glass out. Between rain storms and sunny conditions the wind never solidified and was extremely shifty leading to the race committee canning some thousands of sailors racing.
A bit disappointing but this is part of the sport and we do rely on wind to get moving 
Pretty much sat around all day making new friends, saying hi and catching up with old ones and remembering the last 2 years I had been at Kiel.
I also purchased a Henri Lloyd Jacket to keep me warm so I no longer fear the cold here in Europe!!! victory!!! its tight fitting, breathable and wind\water proof so I feel pretty invincible when I put it on (compared to shivering in my cockpit).
Anyway all is well and just chilling out and waiting for tomorrows racing at 11am.
